Our name is on it - and our
name means a lot.
The son of
a builder, Torry Hessman grew up with a hammer in hand and
visions of building in his future. With over 25 years of building
experience and a top-ranked five-year degree in Interior Architecture
under his belt, he is a homeowner's dream.
Torry prides himself on being honest and straightforward.
Whenever HTI's building a home, he's on site, watching for
quality workmanship and enforcing his high standards. To him,
nothing's 'good enough' until it's perfect.
Archuleta County does not require builders to
be licensed. That's why it's  important
to know your builder has the experience you need to
produce the results you want. Torry graduated in
1993 with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture
from the College of Architecture, Planning, and Design at
Kansas State University and has been building his entire life.
Torry has
been licensed in El Paso county (Colorado Springs area) and
received an outstanding score.
Incorporated
in 1997, Hessman Trades, Inc., a.k.a. HTI, began in the high-tech,
booming city of Colorado Springs. After many years of hard
work, Torry Hessman, owner of HTI, moved his business and
his family to the quiet, mountain community of Pagosa Springs
hoping to give his children a safe, peaceful neighborhood
to expand their minds and their love of nature.
