"To say that our house was completed 'on time,' 'under budget' and that we continue a 'genuine friendship' afterwards is just the 'tip of the iceberg' of our building experience with HTI.
 Torry and April first got to know us, our building goals and dreams, class expectations of the finished project, and what was the top build budget we could afford.
From there, April developed a detailed, all-inclusive, realistic budget. Her dedication to keeping costs at what was quoted was performed with the dedication one would do for their own personal budget.
The build took place while we were still living in Wisconsin. There was excellent pre-build planning communication with Torry and then during the build we received written information, e-mail photos, and sometimes daily phone calls which enabled “on the spot” informed decision-making and outcomes beyond our highest expectations.
The subcontractors Torry and April chose showed the same personal interest in the project. This made the attention to detail and quality of workmanship beyond what we expected while staying in budget.
Torry is not only a 3rd generation builder, but also has a degree in architecture. This proved invaluable as he worked with us to take our ideas and refine them into architectural features that brought to fruition our dreams; not imposition of his ideas (which so many architects do).
Soon another couple from Wisconsin will be building in Pagosa and have chosen HTI because of the excellent build experience and home that was built for us."
